Book review: The Park Bench Test - Sarah Lefebve
The blurb.
How do you know when you’ve found Mr Right?
Aspiring journalist Becky Harper loves her boyfriend Alex, but she doesn’t think he’s Mr Right.
Her best friend Emma doesn’t believe in Mr Right – she’s just looking for a man who will stick around longer than her dad did.
Katie has found her Mr Right and is planning her September wedding with her two best friends.
Debut author Sarah Lefebve asked her own friends and family how they knew they had found the elusive Mr Right and then turned their honest – and often surprising – answers into this charming, emotional and downright funny romance about three friends and their search for Mr Right – if he even exists that is…
My opinion.
"How do you know when you've found Mr Right" is probably one the most "popular" questions among us girls. The only question we probably ask ourselves even more, is "HOW do you find Mr Right?".
Becky Harper, aspiring journalist, is on a mission.
She loves her boyfriend, Alex, but when one of her best friends is getting married, she finally has the courage to ask herself if he's the one. Is he Mr Right? Will he make her happier than any other guy on earth could?
But how does she know fore sure he's not Mr Right, and how will she know when she's found HIM?
Becky is a wonderful, easy to love main character. She's real, she's incredibly funny and a very, very loyal friend. The Park Bench Test is "Sex and the City", "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" a big jar of "Ben&Jerry's", "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and a Leona Lewis CD all in one. LOVED IT.
Reading that Sarah Lefebve was actually on the same mission, that she herself asked friends and family about finding and knowing Mr Right, and that her "quest" turned into this lovely book, made it even more special.
The Park Bench Test is a heartwarming, refreshing and funny tale about a girl's search for happiness... and her very own Mr. Big.
