Book Tour: Crazy, Undercover, Love - Nikki Moore
Uber-feisty career girl Charley Caswell-Wright travels to Barcelona for a weekend assignment as PA to the gorgeous Alex Demetrio, CEO of Demetrio International.
But she's there under entirely false pretenses: to get her life back on track. Having lost the job she worked so hard to earn, she’s determined not to give it up so easily, especially when she didn’t deserve to lose it in the first place.Mr Dreamy CEO is her only chance of clawing back her career – and her reputation. So she has to keep things strictly professional… boy, is she in trouble!
My opinion.
Crazy, Undercover, Love is a wonderful and very entertaining read. In almost every romance story there's a reason why the MC doesn't "allow him/herself to fall in love" - and this almost always results in frustrations (on my part) and missed opportunities on theirs. In Crazy, Undercover, Love, however, Nikki Moore has given her characters an interesting, detailed and complicated history, which she unravels bit by bit throughout the story. Because of this you really 'get' Charley. She's been through something horrible and every time this... event [avoiding spoilers here] comes up, it fills me with rage.
Throughout the book there's a constant sense of mystery and secrecy - like there's more to the story, either on her part or his - and Nikki Moore keeps throwing unexpected plot twists your way.
Highly enjoyable, entertaining and sexy. Brilliant! I'm excited to read more Nikki Moore (haha. Bad pun, I know)
[Love the cover as well. For a story about physical attraction and a very hot man, it's a very classy - yet very sexy cover. I would have hated to see a semi-naked man there, which often makes a book look tacky. THIS in my opinion, is sexy. Perfect!]
